Olympic Torchbearer Alex lights up Barking & Dagenham College

East Londoner Alex Loukos, 19, enjoyed a hero's welcome today as he returned to Barking & Dagenham College the day after being the first Brit to carry the Olympic Flame at The Lighting Ceremony in Ancient Olympia.

City of Westminster College celebrates its official opening

City of Westminster College's Paddington Green Campus has been declared officially open in a ceremony attended by students, staff, Governors, stakeholders and guests. After the formal ceremony performed by Lord Victor Adebowale CBE, there was a spectacular balloon drop from the top of the Atrium and a celebration in the College's Sarah Siddons Theatre.

College Student Achieves the Queen's Scout Award
